三松は、仕分け機構を搭載した新たなレーザー加工機を導入し、自動化・省力化を加速する。板金加工・組み立て専用の本社工場にアマダ製のファイバーレーザー加工機「ＶＥＮＴＩＳ―３０１５ＡＪ」を１台導入。切断・ブランク（抜き）加工の自動化と省人化につなげる。
総投資額は新型の加工機本体とフォークパレットチェンジャーなどの付帯設備、夜須工場への移設費用などを含め２億円。
難削材のチタンも加工できることから今後は航空・宇宙機器分野も狙う。「扱えるサイズは従来比１・７倍になり、回転させながら切っていけるので部品加工能力は２５％増を見込む」（田名部社長）。
電気代やレーザーガス料金のランニングコストは同７割減となり、年間数百万円が浮く計算。本社工場のオペレーターは１人減員の４人となる。
三松は半導体製造装置分野が主力。医療や食品加工機械、包装機械などステンレス製を中心とした加工品に強みを持つ。
2億円の投資となると莫大な金額に思えるが、年間数百万円の電気代削減や人員を１人減らせることを考えると、売り上げも含めてすぐに元は取れそうです。日常でもこの考え方は大事。最初は値段が高くてもランニングコストを踏まえて考えることで実は節約できちゃうなんてことも♪逆に安物買いの銭失いには要注意。こうやって家計のことを考えている主婦も経営者の一人なのかもしれません。「節約したお金でバッグ買っちゃった♪あなたのお小遣い？ちょっと何言ってるかわからない。」「！？」こ れ が 地 獄 だ
